Is the Anthology version modelling the I/O as well? UAD are making it out as if they are the only ones to model the circuit at all.The H910 Harmonizer® was the world’s first digital effects processor. The UAD H910 was emulated using circuit based modeling, so it captures the analog I/O as well as the digital delays and it has the added features of keyboard input and envelope follower." Unless UA did something extra?ĭanThanks for the clarification Dan. but Dan make it sound like Eventide developed this plugin for UA and the collaboration aspect was more about the functionality of the plugin, not the actual circuit modeling. I'm not sure if Gannon is aware of the new Anthology X version. Thanks for the link, I had actually just started reading that thread. This is the exact info I was looking for! These are all specific to the UA version.ĭanThanks so much for the inside scoop Dan. It also doesn't have the envelope follower, keyboard, or extra delay. In that sense it really didn't fit the UA model of authenticity. The dual version of the H910 in Anthology X is inauthentic in the sense that it has cross feedback, too much delay, and sliders instead of buttons.
However the UA version and Anthology X have the same H910 circuit model and algorithm model internally.
The single version in Anthology X, however, had to have the same control compliment as the old version we shipped in Anthology II in order to support our Anthology II customers, so it didn't add the Delay Only output, envelope follower, or on screen keyboard.
As you mention the UA version has an envelope follower and on screen keyboard, as well as the additional voice B delay which we added to make it have the same compliment of controls as the original hardware unit, which is what UA wanted. The requirements for the two plug-ins were slightly different. looking now on Eventide's website, the Anthology X version has a stereo mode with cross feedback, but I'm not sure if that is available on the UAD version. I'm assuming the Eventide 910 is the same one that Eventide just announced in their Anthology X Bundle? I didn't see the envelope follower and keyboard on the Anthology X screen shots.
